Welcome to Torre Mannella

In the heart of Abruzzo a few kilometers from the mountains of the Maiella and Gran Sasso but also close to the beach of the Adriatic Sea, with the natural view from the hills with olive groves and vineyards, in one of the most beautiful Italian villages, Città Sant’Angelo. Torre Mannella is the estate of the Rupi family.

You will find all the comfort you need for your holiday. Enjoy among the olive trees together with fallow deer, geese and peacocks. The farmhouse has been renovated in a rustic, authentic and country style. Enjoy the swimming pool (of 16 m by 8 m) with a shaded gazebo, sunbathing area, next to the BBQ/grill and wood oven.

Torre Mannella offers every opportunity to choose between different rural houses with individual apartments: the Old Torretta (Tower), The Stables, Onello’s House or the Apartments in the Main Building. Torre Mannella is located in a wonderful position in Abruzzo, close to the beautiful places of interest, which allow you to quickly reach the sea, the natural parks, the mountains and the places of cultural interest of the town.

With 18 hectares, along to Abruzzo coast, we grow grapes, olive trees, vegetables and fruit for our DOC Montepulciano and Trebbiano d’Abruzzo wines, from organic agriculture. Our wines and extra virgin olive oil, fresh eggs, along with seasonal fruit and vegetables, can be tasted on the farm. Italian breakfast with fresh products of our production on request.

In Torre Mannella is possible to organize cooking lessons, wine and oil tastings, private parties, weddings or meetings. On request, we can take care of catering, fittings, drinks and of course decorations. In low season is possible to rent the entire farmhouse.
Periodically we organize a pizza pay time in the farmyard, oil and wine tastings with groups of at least ten people.

I stayed in this structure for the Immaculate Conception holiday together with other family members and it was a hallucinating experience to say the least. I was at the Onello house which I would define as dilapidated, poorly cleaned, an old kitchen as well as the rest of the furniture. Upon payment we were asked for more than the one confirmed by email and, finally, my brothers-in-law who had booked and then canceled in time, still paid for the stay which they did not use

Peaceful place gorgeous views, very good wine. This hotel is not on the GPS map. Troubles to get there, no taxis, no internet, poor tel network, be prepared to deal. Very nice people working there.
